Bukowica Hiking Trail

The hiking trail to Bukowica is one of the most challenging and beautiful trails around Sanok. The route passes through dense fir-beech forests, climbing steeply to 723 m above sea level. From the summit there is an extensive panorama: you can see the Bieszczady, Słonne Mountains, San Valley, and on clear days even the Tatras. The trail requires good physical fitness and appropriate footwear. The route is 18 km (round trip) and takes about 6–8 hours. Along the way you can encounter deer, wild boar, and many forest bird species.
